May weeks

A wonderful and privileged two weeks – the fabulous cast performances at the first night of Diva’s Barbiere – on tour all year (see here for dates and venues) – and the audience feedback (singing was ‘fantastic’ and the production ‘very funny, lively and witty’, with the most useful quote – thank you – coming from a couple who said it was the best Barber they had ever seen and that they had found it ‘unique’!); followed by the memorable and moving St Matthew Passion at Crickhowell (Stephen Marshall, mad genius, great colleagues including Charles Daniels, Lizzy Cragg, Clare Wilkinson, Julian Podger, Owain Browne and of course the MAGNIFICENT Crickhowell Choral Society), and now Alehouse Sessions at the Göttingen Handel Festival. Good times all round.
